Tomorrow is Palm Sunday!

Sunday morning is Palm Sunday, Burvick the donkey will be leading the Palm Sunday Parade at church with the congregation walking around the church in rememberance of the entrance of Jesus in the town of Jerusalem.

Ever since going to Trinity Episcopal Church I have developed a deep appreciation for the Christian days of celebration and the different seasons of the church.  Before going to Trinity, Palm Sunday was another day marked on the calender, did not really mean anything to me.  The same was for Good Friday and Easter was about Bunny Rabbits not the death and rising of Christ.

If you would like to have a deeper experience come to the services BEFORE Easter.  Trinity Episcopal Church offers a Maundy Thursday Service at 7:00 PM, a Good Friday service at 8:00 a.m. in the Tower Room (my favorite service, is informal and with a small group of men and woman) or the 12 p.m. service in the Nave (Sanctuary) followed by the stations of the cross.  On Sunday we celebrate the risen Christ with our Easter service at both 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. followed by the Easter Egg hunt for our little ones.

Regardless of your denomination, or perhaps you want to learn more about the life of Jesus and why HE is so important, the week of Easter you are invited to participate and learn more!

We remember His death, we proclaim His resurrection, and await His coming in glory!
