Another day, spent day fixing problems. All the little issues that occur after moving my office. the Director of nurses had the wrong extension assigned, so I had to reset her voicemail password on the new station. Problem is I could not figure out what the reset default password was. After an hour of research on the web, finally figured out how to access so she could access and then change the password to her own. My office manager could not access our accounting software over the internet. Had to remove the software, reload, and create a new network drive to the data folder. My printer required a reload of its software so I can scan files using USB. Fixed the reception area printer/fax so it can fax and moved the desk back 3 inches to the wall after putting a new surge protector in. Then managed to destroy a picture hanging on the wall; tried to fix it after seeing the top part bending. My fix resulted in the picture falling and glass going everywhere. All in all, lots of little things got done.
About 5:30 headed home so the family could go to Smashburger. Great burgers and sweet potatoe fries. Had frosty mugs with root beer. And ended all with milkshakes. Great place to eat, on Friday go before 6 p.m. or after 7 p.m. to avoid the rush.
Afterwards went over to Petsmart for dog food, our two big dogs eat lots. Our mixed pit has to have special food for sensitive skin, $40 for a large bag. But I has learned trying to change to cheaper Sam's Club food, much cheaper than vet bills when she breaks out in hives. Tricha went shopping at Target, must be a rule that says one cannot enter and leave a store for less than $50 or in our case much more. All the little stuff adds up. But I do wonder if we really need tablets that create colored water for bathtime. Hope she does not come out like an Easter Egg. Did get Mr Bubbles, little girl likes to play with the bubbles. Half the cost of using her regular liquid soape to create bubbles.
I'm feeling much better, ears still ringing a bit, but returning to normal. Think this spring I have a worse than normal case of allergies. May have to break down and hire someone to do the lawn. My back is still sore from all the moving, think I strained a muscle over the past month with moving, yardwork, and creating Emily's play area for her swing set. Will have to take it easy for a little while.
This weekend will be working. Tricha and Emily going out of town. I have to close the 2009 financials and get them to our CPA. Also, I have to get our cost report done and to Medicare before the end of May. Normally have done by now, but have been sick a lot the past three months. So it is crunch time, get it done and not worry about again for another year.
Time for a short vacation. Maybe rent a trailer for 3 to 5 days or go tent camping. I bought a small generator last year so we can run a fan or lights or what ever is needed under 1200 watts. Might be fun to camp close to the beach in Galveston or ??? Would be cool to take my 8" telescope and check out the stars on the beach where there is no lights at all.
Will have to start back playing golf. Maybe take a Friday or Sat morning and just get out to play. Has been a while since I chased the little ball around. Anyone game for some fun?
Time to sign off. Good night!
I am there for the golf! Just let me know when and where!!!
